- A minor investment
in paint and wallpaper will pay you dividends in the form of a better price and
a quicker sale.
- Keep shades, blinds, and draperies open to admit light,
dark and dreary rooms do not appeal to most home-buying prospects.
- Clean
the windows so the prospect can see how bright and cheerful your house is.
- Turn
on lamps throughout the house.
- Little things mean a lot. Loose doorknobs
or cabinet pulls, sticking doors and drawers, wobbly hinges, stuck windows --
are all negative factors. Take a few minutes to check and repair all these seemingly
